It's harvest season in the garden!
If you would like to enjoy and help connect neighbors to fresh local produce from your nearest community garden lot, or to learn more, contact one of the garden Coordinators below:

Quality of Life Plan
The Northwest Area Quality of Life plan particpants are working on getting things done in and for our community.
This month's Northwest Area Community Meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, May 19, 2016. Meeting is from 5-7 pm at Flanner House of Indianapolis located at 2424 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Street. Food is served at 5 pm with the meeting starting promptly at 5:30 pm.
In addition, come out on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 and learn about the potential designation of the Riverside Superfund Site. We'll be meeting at the Riverside Park Family Center located at 2420 E Riverside Dr. from 6-8 pm. Representatives from various environmental organizations will be on-site to answer questions about what this means for our community.
Regular QOL Committee Meetings are also ongoing, they address the following areas:
Abandoned Housing and Vacant Properties
Jobs and Adult Eduction/Skills Development
Parks, Natrual Assets and Neighborhood Branding
Re-Entry and Returning Citizens
Violence Reduction and Community Safety

Annual Neighborhood Parade
The Riverside Annual Neighborhood Parade is coming soon September 8th, 11:00am at Burdsal Parkway and E. Riverside Drive. To volunteer or help sponsor this community tradition, please contact or 317-925-0266.
